1. What is myZOO?
myZOO is a web site that offers you the ability to create a personalised homepage by selecting the information you want to see from across the internet. myZOO lets you customise your own homepage by choosing content and modules relevant to you and your interests. Some of these content options include:
- Headlines from leading News & Sports sources
- Weather forecasts, stock quotes and movie show times
- TV Guide, Horoscopes, Entertainment & Music News
- Content from your favourite web sites and much more
2. What is myBIZ?
myBIZ is a web site offered to Small Business Customers that provides the ability to create a personalised homepage by selecting the information you want to see from across the internet. myBIZ lets Small Business Customers tailor their homepage by choosing content and modules relevant to their interests and business. Some of these content options include:
- Headlines tailored to Small Business, such as Switzer ThinkTank
- Weather forecasts, stock quotes and movie show times
- TV Guide, Horoscopes, Entertainment & Music News
- Content from your favourite web sites and much more
3. How do I access the mobile version of the myZOO/myBIZ homepage?
Optus Mobile Customers can access the mobile version of myZOO or myBIZ by:
- Click the OptusZOO button (right soft key) on your mobile phone
- Then click the myZOO tab at the top of your mobile screen
Non Optus mobile customers can access the mobile version of myZOO by entering optuszoo.com.au into a mobile browser.
4. Where has the old myZOO web site gone?
The myZOO web site produced with ninemsn has been retired and replaced with the new myZOO powered by Optus.
5. How do I get the old ninemsn myZOO page back?
You won't be able to get the old page back, but we hope you like the new one. It has most of the same great content, and also has a lot of new content from many leading sources.
6. I'm a Small Business Customer. How do I access the new site?
Small Business Customers can go to the new site at http://mybiz.optus.com.au or will be directed there when they sign in on the homepage.
7. What is personalisation?
Personalisation allows you to choose what content you want to see on your myZOO or myBIZ homepage.
For example, you may be interested in news, sport and weather, but have no interest in stock market quotes or horoscopes. Personalisation with myZOO/myBIZ allows you to choose what you do and don't want, so the myZOO/myBIZ homepage can become your very own.
In addition to all the content that myZOO/myBIZ provides, you also have the option to include RSS feeds in your homepage. RSS feeds are content streams from other websites that are updated at regularly defined intervals.

8. Will my Homepage be personalised on all computers?
You can sign in to myZOO or myBIZ from any internet connection. As long as you are signed in, your personalised homepage will be displayed.
9. What will happen to my preferences?
If you have personalised myZOO, your preferences will be available on the new homepage when you sign in. These personalisation preferences are not available on the ninemsn site.
10. How do I use myZOO/myBIZ on my mobile?
You can use myZOO/myBIZ on your mobile with either an Optus or non-Optus handset. You can also display your personalised homepage on your handset or choose a different set of preferences for your mobile. For example, you may like to have all your favourite content on your mobile or just a few favourites like sport and weather.
If you haven't registered your mobile, go to http://www.optuszoo.com.au/register. Registering enables you to choose the same or different preferences. You will also receive an SMS telling you where to access the mobile version of myZOO or myBIZ.
11. Why do I have to register?
When you sign in, we check your preferences from the old myZOO and make them available, allowing you to choose if you want to have the same preferences on the new myZOO or myBIZ site. If you are new to myZOO or myBIZ, registering enables you to save any changes you make to your myZOO/myBIZ homepage.
12. I forgot my password. How do I get it reset?
If you have forgotten your password please contact Optus Customer Care who will be able to assist you. See the Contact Us page for more information.
13. Is there any change to the way I sign in to the homepage?
You can sign in to myZOO or myBIZ in two different ways:
- Enter your Optus Mobile Number and Password in the fields provided at the top left of your screen
OR - Enter your Member Services User Name and Password in the fields provided at the top left of your screen. User Name example: john.citizen@optusnet.com.au
14. Can I sign in to the myZOO or myBIZ site using my Optus zoo Mobile login?
Yes, you can now use your Optus Mobile phone number to sign in to myZOO or myBIZ.
15. I have signed into myZOO/myBIZ. Why do I have to sign in again to Webmail?
To make your experience more secure, we have separated signing in to myZOO/myBIZ from signing in to Webmail. This means that if you sign in to myZOO or myBIZ and leave your computer, no one else can access your email.
16. What does the change to an Optus powered myZOO mean for my Windows Live ID?
If you use your @optusnet.com.au Windows Live ID for Microsoft provided services, you will be presented with notification of a change of terms from Microsoft when the ninemsn provided homepage is shut down.
17. What are the minimum browser requirements I need to view this page?
myZOO/myBIZ operates best with Internet Explorer or Firefox.
